Frank A. Zernick December 4, 1946-July 22, 2016 Frank A. Zernick age 69, passed away on Friday, July 22, 2016. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Barbara (nee Jensen) Zernick; daughter, Shalon; grandchildren, Brennan, Quentin and Rylee; many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Preceded in death by his parents, John and Elizabeth Zernick; sisters, Gussie and Faye and brother, John. Frank proudly served our country in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the American Legion Post 83 and the VFW Post 1130. Frank was an avid Cubs fan. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Haverstock Funeral Home 602 Maple Avenue La Porte, IN with Rev. Carl Galloway officiating. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Tuesday morning from 11:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home. Cremation service to follow.
