Frank Schreiber Jr.

Mr. Frank George Schreiber Jr., 75, of 3653 N. CR 300 E. LaPorte, Indiana, died Wednesday, March 2, 2005 at 4:30 PM at his residence. He was born December 22, 1929 in LaPorte County, Indiana, to Frank George and Lucinda Frances Thompson Schreiber, who has proceeded. Also preceded are two sisters, Ruth and Marion. Mr. Schreiber lived all of his life in the LaPorte, area. On June 19, 1954 in Rolling Prairie, Indiana Mr. Schreiber was married to Garnet Gail McVay, who survives. Mr. Schreiber worked for Allis Chalmers for 35 years, retiring in 1982. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Rolling Prairie, VFW Post #9423 of Rolling Prairie, IN, American Legion Post #83 of LaPorte, IN, and the Rolling Prairie Conservation Club. Surviving are two daughters, Miss Lori Schreiber of LaPorte, IN, Mrs. Joyce M. Dennis Collins of LaPorte, IN, two sons, Mr. Michael J. Juli Schreiber of South Bend, IN, Mr. Frank George Lee Schreiber, III of LaPorte, IN, two sisters, Mrs. Doris cyr of Rolling Prairie, IN, Mrs. Grace Dennis Goers of LaPorte, IN. Mr. Schreiber has 10 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. The Funeral will be Saturday, March 5, 2005 at 1:00 PM at Haverstock Funeral Home Inc., with Bro. Ransom Ebersole officiating. Friends may call Saturday, March 5, 2005 from 10:00 AM, until time of service. Burial of ashes will take place at Patton Cemetery, at a later date.
