Frank Lochmandy, Sr.

Mr. Frank Lochmandy, Sr., 81 of LaPorte, Indiana died Sunday, December 19, 2004 in LaPorte Hospital. Mr. Lochmandy was born January 11, 1923 in Bertrand, MI to John E. and Harriet Lochmandy who has proceeded. Also preceded in death are 5 siblings, Mr. Lochmandy has lived in the LaPorte area for 21 years, coming from Michigan City, Indiana. On March 31, 1946 in South Bend, Indiana he married Barbara Josephine Plonski, who survives. Mr. Lochmandy worked for the Indiana State Prison as a Correctional Officer for 32 years and retired in 1987. He was a former member of St. Peter?s Catholic Church and Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Mr. Lochmandy enjoyed cooking and baking. Surviving is a son, Mr. Frank Lochmandy, Jr. of LaPorte, IN, four daughters, Frances Applegate of LaPorte, IN, Margaret Lochmandy of LaPorte, IN, Mrs. Annette Dean Naragon of South Bend, IN, Mrs. Tina Bruce Turner of Davie, FL, and a granddaughter, Danielle Marie Turner of Davie, FL. The Funeral will be on Wednesday December 22, 2004 at 1:00pm at Haverstock Funeral Home Inc.with Rev. Ted Nordquist officiating. Friends may call on Wednesday December 22, 2004 from 11:00am until time of service. Burial will be in Pine Lake Cemetery, LaPorte, Indiana.
