Francisca Munoz June 4, 1933-April 11, 2017 Mrs. Francisca Munoz, 83, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away Tuesday April 11, 2017 at her home in La Porte, IN. She was born June 4, 1933 in Monterrey, Mexico, the daughter of Gumisindo Cabariles and Natividad (Morales) Cabariles. Francisca was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in LaPorte, Indiana. On January 19, 1948, in Texas, she married Alberto Munoz, Sr. who preceded her in death July 2, 2001. She is survived by her five sons, Alberto Munoz, Jr. of La Porte, IN, Javier Munoz of Texas, Mario Munoz of Florida, Jose A. Munoz of Florida, Carlos Munoz of Lafayette, IN; six daughters, Guadalupe Munoz of La Porte, IN, Gloria Saldivar of Ossian, IN, Rosa Rangel of La Porte, IN, Norma Munoz of La Porte, IN, Angelica Munoz of La Porte, IN, Patricia Perez of La Porte, IN; thirty-six grandchildren; sixty great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren. Francisca was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers and three sisters. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN where the family will receive friends Friday, April 14, 2017, from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm and Saturday, April 15, 2017 from 9:30 am, until time of service. A Prayer Service will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Saturday April 15, 2017 at 10:30 am with Rev. Jamie Perea officiating. Interment will follow at the Pine Lake Cemetery, LaPorte, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be made to the family of Francisca Munoz.
