Mrs. Frances M. Lee, age 81, of 4536 N. CR 250 E., La Porte, Ind., died Wednesday, May 11, 2005, at 3:07 P.M. at St. Anthony Hospital in Michigan City, Ind. She was born July 7, 1923 in South Bend, IN. to the late Louis Shoemaker and the late Miriam Proud Shoemaker, and has lived in the LaPorte area all of her life. Mrs. Lee was employed by Easy Heat for 32 years and retired in 1988 She was a member of Rolling Prairie First Christian Church, 1941 Club 1941 Graduates of Rolling Prairie High School and Golden Warriors of the church. In April of 1941 she married Donald F. Stevens who preceded in death August of 1946, she remarried in November of 1949 to Therman Lee who preceded in death May of 1973. She is survived by her Five Sons, Mr. Robert Shirley Stevens of La Porte, Ind., Mr. Larry D. Judy Stevens of La Porte, Ind., Mr. Jimmy W. Barb Lee of Saint Paul, Minn., Mr. Allen W. Christine Stevens of Hanna, Ind. Mr. Bruce T. Lee of Carmel, Ind.; Eighteen grandchildren, Jerry Stevens, Jodi Stevens, Tina Randall, Tony Tarnow, Brian F. Stevens, Gina L. Crosslin, Darren L. Stevens, Steven Lee, Kelly Breitzka, Ryan Lee, Brian Brandt, Troy Brandt, Allen Stevens Jr., Timothy Stevens, Amanda Lane, Holly Lee, and Carrie Copeland; Twenty Two great-grandchildren Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, May 13, 2005, and 8:00 AM Saturday until time of the Service. Funeral service will be at Haverstock Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Saturday, May 14, 2005, with Rev. John Marron officiating. Interment will be at Rolling Prairie Cemetery in Rolling Prairie, Ind.
