Frances Cole

Mrs. Frances L. Cole, age 85, of La Porte, Ind., died Monday, December 1, 2008, in La Porte, Ind. She was born July 2, 1923 in LaPorte, Ind. to the late Elmer Magley and the late Margaret Jones Magley. Mrs. Cole was a LaPorte Co. resident all of her life. Frances was a homemaker, she enjoyed gardening, knitting and crocheting, she loved spending time with her family. On December 16, 1939 in LaPorte, Ind. she married Earl Cole who preceded in death on October 9, 1996. She is survived by her; Two Daughters, Mrs. Pamela Charles Lenze of Union Mills, Ind., Mrs. Linda Jack DeRoche of Atlanta, Mich. One Son, Mr. George Carol Cole of La Porte, Ind.; One Sister, Mrs. Maretta Cunningham of Michigan City, Ind. Thirteen grandchildren, Twenty Nine great-grandchildren, and, Four great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her; Parents; Husband, Earl Cole and Son, Ronald E. Cole. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Thursday, December 4, 2008 and Friday from 1:00 PM until time of the service. Funeral service will be at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc. at 2:00 PM Friday, December 5, 2008, with Rev. Evan Lash officiating. Burial will be in Patton Cemetery in LaPorte, Ind.
