Floyd Holt

Mr. Floyd V.L. Holt, age 72, of Union Mills, IN, died Monday, June 26, 2006, at LaPorte Hospital in La Porte, IN. He was born July 17 1933 in Red Rock, AR to Arley Holt and Sendie Chatswell Holt. His Father has preceded in death. Mr. Holt has lived in the Union Mills area for 54 years, coming from Red Rock AR. Mr. Holt's first marriage was in 1954 to Anna Maynard, his second marriage was in May 25, 1963 in New Buffalo, Michigan to Ada Mae Albertson-Hill, who preceded in November 21 1990. Mr. Holt was employed by Burns Bailing, as a Bailor, for 30 years. He Loved gardening, hunting, fishing. Avid racoon hunter, loved his dogs, was a NRA member, loved spending time with his family. Loved to watch Westerns. Surviving is his Three Daughters, Mrs. Jacalyn Paul Dankert of La Porte, IN, Mrs. Patricia Ray Milam of Montgomery, IN, stepdaughter-Mrs. Yevette Kay Steve Hardwicke of La Porte, IN, Three Sons, Mr. Floyd Kim Holt, Jr. of La Porte, IN, Mr. Martin Holt of Union Mills, IN, Mr. Norman Holt of Hamlet, IN, Three Sisters, Mrs. Pam Jerry Salo of California, Mrs. Linda Ken Lee of California, Mrs. Pebble "Nadine" Dunk of La Porte, IN, Two Brothers, Mr. Doyal Holt of Rolling Prairie, IN, Mr. Dee Gerri Holt of La Porte, IN, Mr. Holt has Sixteen grandchildren, Fifteen great-grandchildren. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM To 8:00 PM Thursday, June 29, 2006 and from 9:00 AM Friday June 30, 2006 until time of service. Funeral service will be at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc. at 10:30 AM Friday, June 30, 2006 , with Rev. Dan McDonald officiating. Interment will be at Graceland Cemetery in Valparaiso, IN.
