Florence Hahn

Florence M. Hahn July 8, 1921-June 25, 2011 Her journey along God's path began July 8, 1921 in Jefferson, OH and ended June 25, 2011. She was a daughter of Mary Jennettie (Truex) and Franklin Rassi. Florence lived in Mill Creek, IN since 1948. She moved from Goshen, IN when she married the love of her life, Warren Hahn on December 11, 1948. Warren preceded her in death in 1995. Also preceding her in death was 1 son, Michael Edward Hahn and her parents. Surviving are three daughters, Mary A Nickerson (Ray) of Oklahoma, Susan C Weber (Ron) of Tennessee, Kathleen M Geissler (Michael) and one son, David Lee Hahn both of whom remain in Indiana. Also surviving her are 15 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. She has 2 surviving brothers: Harold (Doris) Rassi and Ralph (Katie) Rassi. She was preceded in death by 8 siblings. Mr & Mrs Hahn and their five children became members of the Mill Creek Baptist Church in 1966. Florence was retired from American Home Foods. The funeral will be Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at Haverstock Funeral Home in LaPorte at 2:00 pm with visitation one hour prior to service. Reverend Ronald Devenport will officiate. Family and friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday, June 28, 2011 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm CST. Interment will be at Oak Grove Cemetery in Mill Creek.
