Evelyn Kennedy

Mrs. Evelyn T. Kennedy, 74, Of 3495 S 800 E , Walkerston, IN, died Monday Feb. 16, 2004, at 2:30 p.m., at the LaPorte, Hospital. She was born on Sept. 9, 1921, in LaPorte to Charles C. and Verneatha Emigh Goethals. On April 15, 1950, in LaPorte, she married Robert L. Kennedy, who survives. Also survuving are, three daughters, Patricia Michael Ryan of Union Mills, Jo Marie Thomas Faulstich of Mishawaka, and Jane John Bealor Rolling Prairie; one son, Robert L. Kennedy of Fish Lake; two sisters, Mary Jane Szilagyi of Stillwell, and Pauline A. Van Dierendonck of Fish Lake; one brother, Robert L. Goethals of LaPorte. Mrs. Kennedy was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the American Legion Auxilliary Post #400. The funeral for Mrs. Kennedy will be Thurs., Feb. 19, 2004 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church, with Rev. Ted Norquist officiating. Friends may call Wed. 18, 2004, from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Haverstock Funeral Home in LaPorte, IN, and Thurs., from 8 to 8:45 a.m. at the funeral home. A Rosary sevice will be held at 7:30 p.m., Wed. Feb. 18, 2004 at the Haverstock Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Premier Hospice, 111 Longwood Dr., LaPorte, IN 46350.
