Eunice Mcdonald

Mrs. Eunice G. McDonald, 92, of LaPorte, Indiana, died Wednesday August 26, 2009 at Golden Living Center Fountainview in LaPorte. She was born June 15, 1917 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Frederick Gottrick and Beda Bergestrom Gottrick. Eunice lived in LaPorte, most of her life. Eunice worked as a deputy for the LaPorte Recorder's Office, she was a member of Seventh Day Adventist Church. On January 23, 1944, in LaPorte, IN, she married Durward McDonald who preceded her in death January 9, 1969. She is survived by her son, David Tracy McDonald of Chesterton, IN; two grandchildren, Zachary McDonald of Chesterton, IN. and Caleb McDonald of Miami, FL. Eunice was preceded in death by her, parents, husband, one daughter, Susan McDonald and one sister, Irene Fisher. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind. where the family will receive friends Monday, August 31, 2009 from 9:00 am, until time of service. Services will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Monday August 31, 2009 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at the Pine Lake Cemetery, LaPorte, Indiana.
