Esther Hula

Mrs. Esther Rose Hula, age 88, of La Porte, Ind., died 7:00 PM Saturday, December 16, 2006, at Brentwood Assisted Living in La Porte, Ind. She was born April 15, 1918 in Chicago, Ill to the late Henry Reitknecht and the late Rose Bielak Reitknecht. She has lived in the LaPorte area coming from Knox, Ind. Mrs. Hula was employed as a secretary by Allis Chalmers Corp. and LaPorte Credit Bureau. ON June 6, 1943 in Knox, Ind. she married Charles Hula who preceded in death in 1988. She is survived by One Daughter, Mrs. Carol Allen Stan of Santa Rosa, Calif.; One Son, Mr. Philip Hula Dottie of La Porte, Ind.; Three grandchildren, Anne Beckwith of Fortwayne, Ind., Matthew HUla of Cheyenne, WY, Lesley Allen of LaPorte, Ind. and Three great-grandchildren, Wendy Beckwith of Fort Wayne, Brody Beckwith of Fort Wayne and Grant Hula of Cheyenne, WY. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind. A memorial service will be at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc. at 10:00 AM Thursday, December 21, 2006.
