Erik Anton Buzalski

Erik Anton Buzalski March 26, 1981-February 24, 2025 Erik Anton Buzalski, 43, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away Monday February 24, 2025 in Chesterton, IN. 

He was born March 26, 1981 in Michigan City, Indiana, the of Richard Buzalski and Vicky (Ellis) Buzalski. 

Erik earned his bachelor's degree and embarked on a successful career as a mechanical engineer at MSI. His passion for engineering was only matched by his love for the great outdoors. An avid fisherman and camper, Erik cherished the moments spent in nature with his family. Beyond his professional achievements, Erik had a profound interest in fixing things, whether it was tractors or lawnmowers. This hobby not only reflected his skill but also his desire to help those around him. He actively participated in the La Porte County Sunday Farmers, where he connected with fellow community members and shared his knowledge. Erik's love for family was evident in all that he did. He was a passionate beekeeper, nurturing his hives with the same care and dedication he devoted to his loved ones. His commitment to family was the cornerstone of his life. He will be missed by all. 

He is survived by his parents, daughter, Eleanor Buzalski; sister, Nikki (Brian) Nuttle. 

Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN. Cremation has taken place.
