Emmett Mcdonald

Mr. Emmett H. McDonald, 77, of 31869 Chicago Trail New Carlisle, Indiana, died Saturday, March 19, 2005 in LaPorte Hospital. He was born October 10, 1927 in Walker, AR, to Evet L. and Myrtle Curtis McDonald, who has proceeded. Also preceded are a daughter, Marcia, a grandson, Bobbie Pumroy, and four sisters, two brothers and a beloved companion-Dorothy Pumroy. Mr. McDonald lived most of his life in the LaPorte area. Mr. McDonald worked for Alexander Chemical; as a truck driver and retired in 1998, also he was a Veteran in the US Air Force, during WWII. Surviving is a son Eldon McDonald of LaHarbra, CA, three sisters, Mrs. Bea Alvis Moore of Kensett, AR, Mrs. ILA Williams of Judsonia, AR, Mrs. Reeda Gene Thrasher of Kensett, AR, two brothers, Mr. Max Sammie McDonald of Kensett, AR, Mr. Tom Laverne McDonald of Searcy, AR, and 16 grandchildren, Justin & Amanda McDonald, Rod & Lori Pumroy, Andy & Larry Pumroy, Autumn Summerlin & Leah Hayes, Bobby & Jeremy Pumroy, Casandra Lipscomb, Eric & Lisa Derucki, Cathy, Chris & Brett Pumroy. Mr. McDonald also has 7 great-grandchildren. The Funeral will be on Wednesday, March 23, 2005 at 1:00 PM at Haverstock Funeral Home, with Pastor Jessie Moore officiating. Friends may call from 9:00 AM until time of service, Wednesday, March 23, 2005, at Haverstock Funeral Home. Burial will be in Pine Lake Cemetery, LaPorte, Indiana.
