Emma Baughman

Mrs. Emma L. Baughman, age 68, of 7799 N. Hemlock, New Carlisle, Ind., died Wednesday, October 12, 2005, at Miller's Merry Manor in New Carlisle, Ind. She was born Aug. 22, 1937 in LaPorte, IN. to the late Delbert McClellan and the late Mary Elizabeth Foster McClellan, and she has lived most of her life in the New Carlisle area. Mrs. Baughman was a Housewife and was a member of Salvation Army. On Feb. 23, 1955 in LaPorte Indiana she married Eugene Baughman who survives. Also surviving are Two Daughters, Mrs. Samantha Dale Elkins of New Carlisle, Ind., Mrs. Brenda William Pegg of La Porte, Ind.; Two Sons, Mr. Thomas Paula Baughman of New Carlisle, Ind., Mr. Todd Donna Baughman of New Carlisle, Ind.; One Sister, Mrs. Roberta Elkins of Mishawaka, Ind.; Fourteen grandchildren, Thomas A. Baughman, Jennifer McKinney, Amy Norris, Kathleen Schelstraete, Eric Schelstraete, Micheel Baughman, Lyssa Pegg, Sunny Pegg, Emma Pegg, Abby Gilchrist, Magan Elkins, Haley Elkins, Hunter Baughman, Gunner Baughman; and Six great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Two Sisters, and One Brother. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Saturday, October 15, 2005. Funeral service will be at Haverstock Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Sunday, October 16, 2005, Rev. Donald Bayne officiating. Interment will be at New Carlisle Cemetery in New Carlisle, Ind.
