Emily Kless

Mrs. Emily Flora Kless, age 91, 220 E. Dunn Rd. of New Carlisle, Ind., died 7:00 AM Sunday, January 1, 2006, at Miller's Merry Manor in New Carlisle, Ind. She was born February 3, 1914 in LaCrosse, Wisc. to the late Andrew French and the late Bessie Skoug French. Mrs. Kless a homemaker and was a member of Faith Baptist Church. She was also a member of Center Township Homemakers Club, Former member of Pinola Grange #2204, Former Member of Rose Rebekah Lodge #408 of LaPorte, and she enjoyed sewing. On May 30, 1930 in New Buffalo, Mich. she married Fred Kless who preceded in death on May 30, 1965. She is survived by her Three Daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Kessler of New Carlisle, Ind., Mrs. Nancy Jacobs of South Haven, Mo., Mrs. Donna Sturino of White Plains, N.Y.; One Son, Mr. Fred Irina Kless of LaPorte Co., Ind.; Two Foster Sons, Mr. Robert Allen of Grand Island, NE, foster son- Mr. Ronald Allen of Alaska; One Sister, Mrs. Louise Hutchin of Michigan, Mich.; Fourteen grandchildren; Twenty Four great-grandchildren; and Eight great-great grandchildren. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday, January 2, 2006 and 9:00 AM Tuesday until time of the service. Funeral service will be at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc. at 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 3, 2006, Pastor Jack M. Cox officiating. Interment will be at Pine Lake Cemetery in La Porte, Ind.
