Mrs. Eloise A. Williamson , 89, of Rolling Prairie, Indiana, died Tuesday July 21, 2009 at La Porte Hospital in La Porte, IN. She was born August 15, 1919 in LaPorte, Indiana, the daughter of Merle Nickerson and Rachel Bennitt Nickerson. Eloise was a homemaker. She was a member of United Methodist Church of Rolling Prairie, and a member of the Lionette's Club. Eloise enjoyed spending time with her family, she also, loved gardening and enjoyed cleaning. On October 5, 1939, in LaPorte, IN, she married Lee H. Williamson who preceded her in death December 21, 1989. She is survived by her son, Jim Glenna Williamson of New Carlisle, IN; daughter, Pat Stayton of Nashville, TN.; six grandchildren, Doug Williamson, Brian Williamson, Allen Williamson, Mickey Williams, Tracey Hunt, Beth Stayton; thirteen great-grandchildren and One great great-grandchild. Eloise was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one brother, Robert Nickerson. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind. where the family will receive friends Thursday, July 23, 2009 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm & Friday, July 24, 2009 from 9:00 am, until time of service. Services will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Friday July 24, 2009 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Dorothy Jones officiating. Interment will follow at the Rolling Prairie Cemetery, Rolling Prairie, Indiana.
