Elizabeth Hanisko

Mrs. Elizabeth Hanisko, age 92, of La Porte, Ind., died Tuesday, April 17, 2007, at Beverly LivingCenter-LaPorte in LaPorte, Ind. She was born March 11, 1915, in LaPorte, Indiana. She was the daughter of the late Michael Garab and the late Theresa Revees Garab. Mrs. Hanisko was a life long resident of LaPorte, Indiana. On April 22, 1939 in Chicago, IL, she was married to Joseph Paul Hanisko, who preceded October 27, 1990. Mrs. Hanisko was employed by Howmet Corp. as a Laborer for 15 years, retiring in 1980 and was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church. She was an excellent baker and cook. She is also survived by her three sisters; Mrs. Theresa Morris of South Bend, Ind., Mrs. Anna Smith of La Porte, Ind. Mrs. Mary Vantine of La Porte, Ind. Several Nieces and Nephews. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind.,. There will be no visitation. A Graveside Service will be at Pine Lake Cemetery in LaPorte, Indiana at 11:00 AM Monday, April 23, 2007 , with Rev. Joseph Angotti, officiating.
