Elinor Barron

Mrs. Elinor S. Fultz Barron, 88, of La Porte, Indiana, died Monday February 16, 2009 at Golden Living Center Fountainview in LaPorte, IN. She was born September 8, 1920 in Logansport, Indiana, the daughter of Charles Strauch and Ellenora Bassler Strauch. Elinor worked as a Laborer for Crown International-Elkhart, a camper RV industry for nine years, retiring in 1982. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Rolling Prairie and Eastern Star. Elinor enjoyed reading and traveling. On February 15, 1941, in LaPorte, IN, she married George W. Fultz, who preceded her in death, December of 1963. Second Marriage: On March 31, 1985 in Winter Park, FL., she married Clinton Barron, who preceded in death in August of 1988. She is survived by her daughter, Sheryle Kay Don Lorenger of Elko, NV, daughter, Ann Fultz of South Bend, IN, daughter, Jill Tom McLoughlin of Westminster, CO, son, George Shelby Fultz of La Porte, IN, son, Robert Carrie Fultz of Three Oaks, MI, Ten Grandchildren, Seven Great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild, sister, Louise Rodgers of Hot Springs, AR, sister, JoAnn Harber of South Bend, IN, sister, Lovella Hickman of La Porte, IN, brother, Roger Strauch of New Carlisle, IN, Brother, Marion Strauch of McAllen, TX. Elinor was preceded in death by her sister, Eileen Settles, mother, Ellenora Strauch, father, Charles Strauch, Ist Husband, George Fultz, 2nd Husband, Clinton Barron, sister, Alice Strauch, sister, Eileen Settles, brother, Charles Strauch and grandson, Benjamin Fultz . Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind. where the family will receive friends Thursday, February 19, 2009 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm. A Memorial Service will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., February 19, 2009 at 7:00 PM with Rev. Ransom Ebersole officiating. Burial of ashes will be held at a later date in the Pine Lake Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Christian Church of Rolling Prairie or Ascera Care Hospice at Fountainview.
