Eleanore Clark

Mrs. Eleonore Clark, age 83, of La Porte, Ind., died Monday, June 19, 2006, at 4:30 PM at her residence in La Porte, Ind. She was born April 28, 1923 in LaPorte, Ind. to the late Fred Clark and the late Florence Johnston Clark. She has lived in the LaPorte area all of her life. Mrs. Clark was employed as a nurse by Partners in Opportunity. She held many nursing positions during her life; she was a survivor of breast cancer. Motherhood, nursing and friends and family were her life. She enjoyed gardening and flowers. She was always willing to help, she was professional and caring and highly regarded by her patients. She is survived by her One Daughter, Mrs. Karen Charles Summers of Washington, One Son, Mr. Alan Pat Hawn of Colorado; Two Grandchildren, Lee Kelly Alleman of Indiana, Eric Alleman of Colorado; Two Great Grandchildren, Joseph Alleman and Nathan Alleman. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, June 23, 2006. Funeral service will be at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc. at 10:30 AM Saturday, June 24, 2006, Rev. David Tripp officiating. Interment will be at Heckman Cemetery in LaPorte, Ind.
