Eileen Hull

Eileen Marie Hull July 20, 1915-December 11, 2016 Eileen M. Hull, 101, of La Porte, IN passed away on December 11, 2016 at Trail Creek Place in Michigan City, Indiana Eileen was born in Vigo County, Indiana south east of Terre Haute, IN on July 20, 1915 on the farm of her parents Herschel and Lois (Heady) Myers. After high school she met Robert E. (Bob) Hull and they were married on June 11, 1938 in Rockville, IN. After leaving the farm life in the late 30's, they moved to the Munster, IN area. Their son Robert A. Hull was born in East Chicago in 1943. Eileen was very supportive of her husband's career moves and they finally came to La Porte in December of 1951. Eileen gave piano lessons for over 50 years and was always very enthusiastic about everyone enjoying music. Eileen was a member of the La Porte First Presbyterian Church since December of 1951. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law Robert and Trudy Hull, four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Bob who died in 1982. Arrangements are entrusted to the Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Private family service will be held at the funeral home and burial will be in Pine Lake Cemetery.
