Edward Dubois

Mr. Edward B. DuBois, age 76, of 7616 N. Huron Trail, Rolling Prairie, Ind., died Wednesday, January 18, 2006 at 2:55 AM, at his home in Rolling Prairie, Ind. He was born May 23, 1929 in Chicago, IL. to the late Edward DuBois and the late Laura Freitch DuBois. He has lived in the LaPorte area for 18 years coming from Park Forest, IL. Mr. DuBois was a Professional Electrical Engineer and retired in 1987. He was a member of St. John Kanty Catholic Church. He was Veteran of US Army during Korean Conflict, member of New Carlisle IN. American Legion Post and a former member of the Rotary Club of LaPorte. On November 25, 1950 in Chicago IL. he married Marian Jean Shapen who survives. He is also survived by Two Daughters, Mrs. Paula Charles Zmuda of Park Forest, Ill., Mrs. Christine Steven Sendgikoski of Park Forest, Ill.; Two Sons, Mr. Peter Mary DuBois of Park Forest, Ill., Mr. Philip Connie DuBois of Lisle, Ill.; One Brother, Mr. Richard Shay DuBois of Mountain Grove, Mo.; Ten grandchildren; Two great-grandchildren. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, January 19, 2006 and 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM Friday, January 20, 2006. A Rosary service will be conducted at the Funeral Home at 6:30 PM Thursday. Funeral service will be at St. John Kanty Catholic Church at 11:00 AM Friday, January 20, 2006, Rev. Michael Heimer officiating. Interment will be at St. John Kanty Cemetery in Rolling Prairie, Ind. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
