Edsel "Buck" F. Horn February 12, 1933-June 1, 2015 Mr. Edsel "Buck" F. Horn, 82, of Michigan City, Indiana, died Monday June 1, 2015 at his home. He was born February 12, 1933 in Hopper, Arkansas, the son of Ted Horn and Lottie (Holifield) Horn. Buck had worked for forty-three years for Dwyer Products. He loved to go camping, fishing, hunting and also enjoyed the outdoors and traveling. Buck especially loved spending time with his family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. On June 28, 1952, in Beverly Shores,IN, he married Alice (Metts) Horn who survives. He is also survived by his daughter, Kim Horn of Michigan City, IN; three sons, Leslie Horn of Michigan City, IN, Larry (Shirley) Horn of Michigan City, IN, Terry (Dana) Horn of Michigan City, IN; five grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; two brothers, Kenneth and Ted Horn both of AR; sister, Doris Miller of Libertyville, IL; sister-in-law, Beverly (John) Parrett of La Porte, IN; several nieces and nephews; Buck was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Billy Carol Horn, and one sister, Clarene Betts. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, IN where the family will receive friends Thursday, June 4, 2015 from 9:00 am, until time of service. A life celebration will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc.,Thursday, June 4, 2015 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at the Hanna Cemetery.
