Edith Creed

Mrs. Edith May Creed, age 80, of 107 Greenwood Dr. La Porte, Ind., died 7:15 AM Saturday, December 3, 2005, at her home in La Porte, Ind. She was born March 25, 1925 in Robinson, IL. to the late Sherman Myers and the late Eva Hightshoe Myers. She has lived in the LaPorte area for the last 63 years. She was a member the LaPorte Missionary Church and she enjoyed camping and family activities with her Grandchildren. On Oct 21, 1941 in Marshall, Illinois she married Mr. Arden O. Creed who survives. Also surviving are One Daughter, Mrs. Twila Watt of La Porte, Ind.; One Son, Mr. Larry A. Creed of LaPorte, Ind.; One Sister, Mrs. Lucille Skeeter of Paris, Ill.; One Brother, Mr. Jerry R. Myers of Robinson, Ill.; Six grandchildren and Five great-grandchildren. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday, December 5, 2005 and 9:00 AM Tues until time of the Service. Funeral service will be at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc. at 1:00 PM Tuesday, December 6, 2005, Rev. Carl Galloway officiating. Interment will be at Pine Lake Cemetery in La Porte, Ind.
