Dorothy J. Wilson February 19, 1938-February 21, 2018 Dorothy J. (Spriggs) Wilson was born in Union Mills, Indiana to Clifford R. and Louise Y. (Armstrong) Sriggs. On July 16, 1955 she married her best friend and love of her life A. "David" Wilson in Crumstown, North Liberty, Indiana Having been a farm girl all her life she enjoyed helping her husband with the farm work. She also enjoyed mowing the yard, tending the garden and her flowers. But most of all loved all her family dearly. They were blessed with three wonderful sons John N., and Albert D. Wilson of Mill Creek, Indiana and David D. Wilson of Mishawaka, Indiana. Two daughters Wanda L. (Wilson) Dutcher of Valparaiso, Indiana and Kathy Sue Wilson (Deceased). Four grandsons John N., Joshua L., and Kurt A. Wilson (Deceased) and Wilson and Frank Dutcher. One granddaughter Brenda Dutcher. Several great grandchildren, Cyrus B., John D., Trista L., Katuna M. and Noah Lee Wilson, Ashely L., Shantell L., and Jonathon Davis. Two nephews Dennis and Charles Spriggs. One niece Valerie Rumpf. Several great nieces and nephews. and two very special ladies, Betty Hooten and Lisa Beatty. She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Kathy Sue Wilson and grandson Kurt A. Wilson. Two brothers Paul J. and Jack A. Spriggs. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, IN where the family will receive friends Friday, February 23, 2018, 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm and Saturday, February 24, 2018, 9:00 am until time of the service. A life celebration will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Saturday February 24, 2018 at 10:00 am with Chaplain Annetta Freese officiating. Interment will follow at the Sauktown Cemetery, Mill Creek, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be made to the Sauktown Cemetery Association.
