Dorothy Michaels October 3, 1941-February 19, 2017 Dorothy Michaels, 75, of Union Mills, Indiana, passed away Sunday, February 19, 2017 at Brentwood Assisted Living in La Porte, Indiana. She was born October 3, 1941 in Knox, Indiana, to the late Clyde and Ethel (Allen) Bradly. Dorothy retired in 2002 after 16 years working at TP Orthodontics as a welder. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Kingsbury. She enjoyed traveling and sewing. On April 22, 1961, in Kingsbury, IN, she married Gordon Michaels who preceded in death July 22, 1989. She is survived by her son, Jeffrey W. (Chandra ) Michaels of Union Mills, IN; sister, Mary Rose (Jim) Mardis of Elizabeth Town, KY; two brothers, Clyde Bradly of Michigan City, IN, Garland Young (Barbara) Bradly of South Bend, IN, grandson, Gavin Michaels. She was preceded in death by brother, Allen Bradley. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN.
