Doris M. Swanson December 18, 1924-March 11, 2017 Miss Doris M. Swanson, 92, of Michigan City, Indiana, formerly of La Porte, passed away Saturday March 11, 2017 at Aperion Care Arbors in Michigan City, IN. She was born December 18, 1924 in La Porte, Indiana, the daughter of Hart W. Swanson Sr. and Martha B. (Diesslin) Swanson. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Mary Swanson of La Porte, IN; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Doris was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, Robert A. Swanson, Hart W. Swanson Jr., and a sister, Gladys Rapp. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN Private graveside services were held at Pine Lake Cemetery with Rev.
