Doris Mcallister

Mrs. Doris Louise Troy McAllister, age 78, of La Porte, IN, died Monday, April 3, 2006, at LaPorte Hospital in LaPorte, IN. She was born July 8, 1927 in LaPorte, IN, to Edward Troy and Clara Peters Troy, who has preceded. Also preceded is her Husband James McAllister, a sister, Grace Zila, a sister, Mary Martensen. Mrs. McAllister has lived all her life in the LaPorte area. On July 1, 1950 in LaPorte, IN, she was married to James McAllister, who preceded on January 19, 1991. Mrs. McAllister was employed by American Rubber for 40 years, retiring in 1993, she was a member of St.John's Lutheran Church. Surviving is her brother, Mr. William Leota Troy of LaPorte, IN, Nephew, Mr. Francis Wenker of Canton, MI. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, IN, where the family will receive friends for a Graveside Service Tuesday, April 4, 2006. The Graveside service will be at Tracy Cemetery at 11:00 AM Thursday, April 6, 2006, with Rev. Ronald Brauer officating. Interment will be at Tracy Cemetery in Hamlet, IN.
