Dennis Rae Radloff September 6, 1948-September 23, 2016 Dennis (Denny) R. Radloff, 68, of La Porte died on Friday September 23rd at his home after a lengthy illness. He was born on September 6, 1948 in Hammond, IN to Lara Gisledotter and Horace E. Radloff. He was a supporter of the Local VFW since 1996. Denny was a 30 year veteran of Modine Manufacturing. He was an avid Harley-Davidson rider for many years. He was survived by his sister Pamela D. Roberts (James J. Foley III) of Arlington ,Texas; two daughters Holly (Kory) Lyles of LaPorte, and Julie (Mike) Padgett of La Porte; son Randy (Diane) Radloff of LaPorte; niece Christina Radloff and great nephew Jackson of Naperville, Illinois. Olafur Johanneson and family of Reykjavik, Iceland. Grandsons Jeff Michiaels, and Taylor Lyles of La Porte; Brendan Radloff of Wanatah, IN, Trenton (Deanna) Padgett of Tomball, Texas; granddaughters Jessica Michiaels, Jazmine Padgett, Jamie Michiaels, Kynsey Lyles and Alexa (Nate) Gariepy of La Porte. He also leaves behind many close friends that he considered family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lara and Horace, and brother Horace Gisle Robert Radloff. A private family celebration of life will be held in his honor. Cremation has taken place.
