Dennis Barhydt

Mr. Dennis Lee Barhydt, age 57, of La Porte, Ind., died Wednesday, July 11, 2007, at LaPorte Hospital in La Porte, Ind. He was born July 3, 2007 in Goshen, Ind. to the late Otto "Speed" Barhydt and the late Mary Ditton Barhydt. Mr. Barhydt was employed by LaPorte Water Dept. for over 30 years. He was a loving father, and husband. He had a house full of pets that he adored and loved working on his computer. On April 13, 1974 in LaPorte, Indiana he married Sharon Richards who survives. He is also survived by his Daughter, Sarah Barhydt of La Porte, Ind.; Two Brothers, George Barhydt of Goshen, Ind., Steven Barhydt of Millersburg, Ind. and several nieces and nephews. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Saturday, July 14, 2007. Funeral service will be at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc. at 1:00 PM Saturday, July 14, 2007, Mr. Roy McNeal, Celebrant officiating. Interment will be at Door Village Cemetery in LaPorte, Ind.
