Deloris Radcliffe

Mrs. Deloris M. Radcliffe, age 83, of 1111 Longwood Dr., LaPorte, Ind., died Wednesday, August 10, 2005 at 1:23 AM, at LaPorte Hospital in La Porte, Ind. She was born Aug. 28, 1921 in Wheatfield, IN. to the late Earl Michiaels and the late Nora Short Michiaels and has been a life long resident of the LaPorte area. Mrs. Radcliffe owned and operated the Villa Cafe & Motel for 23 years before her retirement. She was a member of Rolling Prairie Eastern Star. On May 17, 1941 in Oakland Maryland she married Wilbur Radcliffe who preceded her in death on July 3, 1989. Also preceding her in death are her parents; One Daughter Marie Proll; four sisters and three brothers. She is survived by her one son, Mr. Charles Jo Ellen Radcliffe of Cheyenne, Wyo.; Two Brothers, Mr. Marvin G. Michiaels of LaPorte, Ind., Mr. Earl K. Michiaels of Valparaiso, Ind.; Three grandchildren, Tundra M. Misiewicz, Nina M. Radcliffe, Lisa A. Radcliffe; and Two great-grandchildren. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, August 12, 2005. Funeral service will be at Haverstock Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Saturday, August 13, 2005 , with Pastor Roger Ash officiating. Interment will be at Rolling Prairie Cemetery in Rolling Prairie, Ind.
