Della Gee

Mrs. Della F. Gee, 85, of La Porte, Indiana, died Tuesday September 8, 2009 at St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Michigan City, IN. She was born on February 9, 1924 in Idaville, Indiana, the daughter of Foney and Alma Peters Weaver. She is survived by her five daughters, Minnie Carroll of Okeechobee, FL, Sue Albertson of LaPorte, IN, Doris Krenzke, Nancy Gee both of Rolling Prairie, IN, Helen Gee of Stillwell, IN; two sons, Ralph Gee, Sr. of LaPorte, IN, David Gee of Hamlet, IN; twenty grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and one brother Ivan Weaver of Kokomo, IN. Della was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Dale Gee, Paul Gee, two sisters and one brother. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind. where the family will receive friends Friday, September 11, 2009 from 9:00 am - 11:00 am. Services will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Friday September 11, 2009 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Ronald Devenport, officiating.
