Delilah Euler

Delilah Ann Euler March 3, 1933-April 4, 2015 Mrs. Delilah Ann Euler, 82, of La Porte, Indiana, died Saturday April 4, 2015 at her home in La Porte. She was born March 3, 1933 in Nappanee, Indiana, the daughter of Preston Boyd Sholly and Sarah Delilah (Yoder) Sholly. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Order of the Eastern Star, Girl Scout Leader, Volunteered much of her time at the school and was a PTA Member. Delilah Graduated in 1951 from La Porte High School and attended the La Porte Business School. She was a homemaker and worked a short time at Allis Chalmers Corp. Delilah hobbies include coordinating monthly luncheons with friends, puzzle books, Sudoku puzzles, going to the movies, clipping articles and sending cards and collected crosses. She loved sports especially March Madness. In her younger years she spent a lot of time at the roller rink and bowled in high school. On May 14, 1959, in La Porte, IN, she married Herbert Euler who preceded in death May 20, 2001. She is survived by her son, Steven (Sarah Johnson) Euler of La Porte, IN; two daughters, Karen (Lewis) Euler-Reif of Albuquerque, NM, Janet (Jeff) Brady of Wilsall, MT; six grandchildren, Sarah Brady, Brandon Euler, Kathryn Reif, Troy Brady, Dakota Euler, and Nicolas Reif. Delilah was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN where the family will receive friends Monday, April 6, 2015, from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm and Tuesday, April 7, 2015, from 10:00 am until time of the service. A life celebration will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Tuesday April 7, 2015 at 11:00 am with Rev. Evan Lash officiating. Interment will follow at the Patton Cemetery, LaPorte, Indiana.
