Debra A. Nicholson May 18, 1956-August 11, 2010 Debra A. Nicholson , 54, of Michigan City, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday August 11, 2010 at St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Michigan City, IN. She was born May 18, 1956 in Salem, Indiana, the daughter of Roosevelt Nicholson and Nancy Nicholson Morgan. Debra worked as a medical assistant for Health Partners in Chesterton, IN. She was a member of First Christian Church of LaPorte. She is survived by her mother, Nancy Morgan of Salem, IN.; father, Roosevelt Nicholson of Salem, IN.; son - Steven Tye of Sellersburg, IN; daughter - Sarah Abraham of Michigan City, IN; five grandchildren; two brothers - Keith Nicholson of Buford, GA, and Chris Nicholson of Salem, IN. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind. The family will receive friends Sunday, August 15, 2010 from 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm at the First Christian Church of LaPorte. A memorial service will be held at the church on Sunday August 15, 2010 at 5:00 PM with Rev.Everett Shattuck officiating. Cremation has taken place.
