Debra Capron

Deborah Sue Capron was born on July 9, 1957, passed away on July 15, 2024, peacefully, surrounded by the comfort of her home in La Porte, Indiana. She was known for her dedicated work in the cafeteria for La Porte Community School Corporation for many years.

Deborah was a beloved wife to Duane E. Capron, on July 28, 1979, Deborah married the love of her life. Deborah had a love for riding the Harley with her husband to the world’s largest motorcycle rally in Sturgis, South Dakota. She found joy in caring for the numerous birdhouses she owned, relishing the sight of birds and butterflies that would frequent them. Additionally, she had a unique collection of odd-shaped bottles that showcased her appreciation for the unusual. Deborah Sue's warm and sociable nature was evident in the countless hours she spent chatting on the phone with her friends. She loved her two wild and crazy kids Jess and Paulie. Her presence will be greatly missed by all who knew her. 

Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN. A celebration of life will be held at a later time. Cremation has taken place.
