David "Bodie" Trusty July 26, 1956-July 5, 2013 Mr. David "Bodie" Trusty Sr., 56, of La Porte, Indiana, died Friday July 5, 2013 at his home. He was born July 26, 1956 in Knox, Indiana, the son of Ora Trusty and Lowvillie (Campbell) Trusty. David worked as a mechanic and was self employed. David enjoyed riding motorcycles, traveling, and working on cars and he spent a lot of time playing pool and pitching horse shoes with his friends. He is survived by his long time girl friend - Shari Baughman; 2 sons - David Trusty Jr, Steven Ray Gallegos; daughter - Julie Ann Baughman; grandchild - Kamron Roark; parents Ora and Lowvillie Trusty; 3 brothers - Clarence Trusty, Henderson Trusty, Wayne Trusty; sister - Geneva Trusty; and many aunts, uncles nieces, nephews and cousins. David was preceded in death by his grandparents. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN where the family will receive friends Wednesday, July 10, 2013 10:00 am - 11:00 am. A life celebration will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Wednesday July 10, 2013 at 11:00 am with Rev. Ransom Ebersole, officiating. Cremation will follow.
