David Schnick

Mr. David N. Schnick, 66, of Michigan City, Indiana, died Sunday March 14, 2010 at St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Michigan City, IN. He was born July 12, 1943, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Raymond E. Schnick, Sr. and June F. Wilson Schnick. He lived his whole life in LaPorte area, except spending twenty-years in Houston, Texas. David worked as an electrician. He was a former member of the Moose Lodge. David enjoyed fishing and spending time with his children. He is survived by his son, William Cara Schnick of Wadsworth, OH.; five daughters, Elizabeth Troy Veeder of New Mexico, Christine Avery Caldwell of Houston, TX, Tammy Bobby Hoke of Houston, TX, Roberta Joe Tipton of Houston, TX, Valerie Jose Luna of Houston, TX; two brothers, Raymond Sharon Schnick of LaPorte, IN. and Allen Billie Schnick of Sevierville, TN., several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. David was preceded in death by his parents and two sons, David Schnick and Michael Schnick. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind. where the family will receive friends Friday, March 19, 2010 from 10:00 am, until time of service. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Friday, March 19, 2010 with Rev. Andy Hanyzewski, officiating at the Haverstock Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to: The Family of David N.
