David Mills

Mr. David E. Mills, age 62, of La Porte, Ind., died Tuesday, March 21, 2006, at 12:18 AM at LaPorte Hospital in La Porte, Ind. He was born June 27, 1943 in Niles, Mich. to Walter Mills and the late Annamay Briton Mills. He has lived in the LaPorte area for the last 34 years coming from Niles, Mich. He loved to go fishing and loved to travel. He Served in the U.S. Army. On July 15, 1973 in Rolling Prairie, Ind. he married Wanda Jean Conley who survives. He is also survived by One Daughter, Mrs. Tina Sherrer of South Bend, Ind.; Two Step-daughters Mrs. Mary Foster of La Porte, Ind., Mrs. Fay Quinn of Fish Lake, Ind.; Two Sons, Mr. David Mills of Niles, Mich., Mr. Timmy Mills of Niles, Mich.; Fourteen grandchildren; Four great-grandchildren; Two Sisters, Mrs. Ruth Ann Rodriguez of Niles, Mich., Mrs. Rose Blakey of South Bend, Ind.; Five Brothers, Mr. Walter Mills of Tennessee, Mr. Phillip Mills of Louisiana, Mr. Bob Mills of Niles, Mich., Mr. Art Mills of Zeeland, Mich., and Rev. Michael Mills of Hutchington, KA. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc.; 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind. Funeral service will be Graveside at Patton Cemetery at 1:00 PM Friday, March 24, 2006, Rev. Michael Mills officiating. Interment will be at Patton Cemetery in LaPorte, Ind.
