Darious Bush

The funeral service for Mrs. Darious V. Bush, 90, of 2204 K St., La-Porte, will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Haverstock Funeral Home, LaPorte, with Rev. Jack Cox officiating. Mrs. Bush died Thursday, July 29, 2004, at 11:18 p.m. at Fountainview Terrace Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, LaPorte. Friends may call Monday from 9 to 11 a.m. Burial will be in Door Village Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor?s choice. She was born Nov. 6, 1913, in Indianapolis, to Edward and Emma Underwood Otter and lived most of her life in the LaPorte area. Mrs. Bush was a homemaker and a member of Faith Baptist Church. On Aug. 15, 1932, in LaPorte, she married Harlan H. Bush, who died Aug. 10, 1987. Also preceding her in death were her parents, one sister, Sarah Kuk, and four brothers, John, James, Charles and Gene Otter. She is survived by two daughters, Betty Hekter of Venice, Fla., and Nancy A. Blum of Lakeport, Ind.; three sons, Alton Joan, Gene Eloise and Tom L.
