Daniel Skovran

Mr. Daniel Skovran, age 41, of Westville, Ind., died Thursday, June 19, 2008, at LaPorte Hospital in La Porte, Ind. He was born March 14, 1967 in Chicago, Ill. to the late Leo Skovran and Rosalie Buczko Skovran, and has lived in the LaPorte area for 10 years coming from Chicago, Ill. Mr. Skovran was a truck driver. He enjoyed fishing and camping. He was a big jokester and told stories; he liked to make people laugh. On December 2, 1989 in Chicago, Ill. he married Christine Frank who survives. He is also survived by his Mother Rosalie Skovran of Westville, Ind.; One Brother, Mr. Kevin Michael Dawn Skovran of Nicholasville, Ky.; and several Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. He is preceded in death by his father Leo Skovran. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM Saturday, June 21, 2008. Funeral service will be at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc. at 2:00 PM Saturday, June 21, 2008, Rev. Ian Williams officiating.
