Dan C. Brooks 'Neen' February 26, 1944 - December 10, 2015 Dan C. Brooks age 71, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 10, 2015. He is survived by his children, Jan C. Askegaard and John (Tracy) Brooks; grandchildren, Jordan, Lindsay, Dylan, Nathan, Erin and Luke; step-sons, Don (Michelle) Taylor and Ron (Lisa) Taylor; sisters, Lucy Herrold and Barbara Hart; brothers, Phil (June) Brooks, Kenny (Sharon) Brooks and Dick (Sue) Brooks; sisters in law, Maggie Brooks and Nancy Brooks, many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Preceded in death by his parents, Maurice and Edna Brooks; wife, Ruby Brooks; sister, Mary Jane Eisenhour and brothers, Morrie Brooks and Bob Brooks and his faithful canine companion, Loretta. Dan retired from Bethlehem Steel with over 40 years of service. He was an avid car enthusiast. He was known as 'grandfather' not only to his grandchildren but to all of their friends and family as well. Dan was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be truly missed by all whose lives he touched. There will be no visitation or services. His final wishes will be honored by his children and grandchildren.
