Danette Michaels

Mrs. Danette N. Michaels, age 36, of La Porte, Ind., died Friday, April 28, 2006, at 10:05 PM at LaPorte Hospital in La Porte, Ind. She was July 16, 1969 in LaPorte, Ind. to Larry Creed and Loretta Benton Creed. She has lived in the LaPorte area all of her life. Mrs. Michaels was a homemaker and was a member of St. John Lutheran Church of Wanatah where she Taught Sunday School. On April 13, 1996 she married James Michaels who survives. She is also survived by One Daughter, Miss Abbie Michaels of La Porte, Ind.; One Son, Mr. Jared Michaels of La Porte, Ind.; Parents, Larry and Loretta Creed of LaPorte, Ind.; Paternal Grandparents, Arden and Edith Creed of LaPorte, Ind.; One Sister, Mrs. Dieone Ott of LaPorte, Ind.; One Brother, Mr. Ardy Creed of La Porte, Ind.; Two Nieces and Three Nephews. She is preceded in death by her Maternal Grandparents Alfred and Noelle Benton. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, May 2, 2006 and Wednesday from St. John Lutheran Church of Wanatah from 10:00 AM until time of the service. Funeral service will be at St. John Lutheran Church of Wanatah at 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 3, 2006, Rev. Joel Steven Zipay officiating. Interment will be at St. John Lutheran Cemetery in Wanatah, Ind.
