Dale R. Lovekin, Sr. August 22, 1964-February 23, 2015 Mr. Dale R. Lovekin, Sr. 50, of Walkerton, Indiana, went in peace on Monday February 23, 2015, at his home surrounded by his family and friends. He was born August 22, 1964 in San Diego, California, the son of Verne Lovekin and Sandra (McCoy) Lovekin. Dale was a member of the Prairie Garden Church of Christ of New Carlisle, Indiana. He loved to play pool and was a member of several pool leagues, he also enjoyed playing darts. Dale loved his family and friends very much. He is survived by his two sons, Dale (Shea) Lovekin, Jr of Paw Paw, MI, and Kiel Lovekin with the US Marines in CA; three grandchildren; a brother, Jody Lovekin of Fish Lake, IN, and a sister, Kandie (Rob) Myers of Rolling Prairie, IN; two nieces, and one nephew. Dale was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, IN. There will be no visitation. Cremation will take place. A Memorial Service will be held at the Prairie Garden Church of Christ, in New Carlisle, Indiana on Saturday February 28, 2015 at 1:00 pm cst with Rev. Robert Baird, officiating.
