D. Doms

Mrs. D. Jean Doms, 76, of 8518 E. CR 50 N., Mill Creek, IN., died Saturday, March 19, 2005, at 1:22 a.m. at the LaPorte Hospital. She was born June 6, 1928, in Dundee, IL, to Harry and Doris Hartline Boles, and has lived in the Mill Creek area most of her life. Mrs. Doms was a bus driver for 26 years for the LaPorte Community School Corp. and she retired in 1990. On October 26, 1974 in New Carlisle, IN. she married Joseph A. Doms who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Nancy Beadles of Mill Creek, IN., Diane Hugh Glassgow of LaPorte, IN.; one son, Ray Carolyn Kissinger of Mill Creek, IN.; two step-daughters, Carolyn Robert Hluchan of North Liberty, IN., Connie Timothy Ransom of LaPorte, IN.; 14 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Lois Stoner of Rolling Prairie, IN., Carmen Deepe of Bois D Arc, MO.; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; 1 daughter, Evelyn Janish; and 1 sister Clara Nelson. Funeral services will be held Tuesday March 22, 2005, at 11:00 a.m. at the Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., with the Rev. Ronald Devenport officiating. Friends may call Monday, from 2 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mill Creek Baptist Church, 8762 E.
