Connie S. Martin May 13, 1947-February 4, 2015 Mrs. Connie S. Martin , 67, of La Porte, Indiana, died Wednesday February 4, 2015 at Indiana University Health La Porte Hospital in La Porte, IN. She was born May 13, 1947 in Wabash, Indiana, the daughter of Chester Culver and Norma (Eskew) Culver. Connie worked as a beautician. She had a good sense of humor, she loved to pull pranks on people and was fun to be with. Connie focused on and loved her family and grandchildren. On May 9, 1981 in LaPorte, Indiana, she married George Martin who survives. She is also survived by her two daughters, Jodi Dials of La Porte, IN; Judy (Israel) Espinosa of La Porte, IN; five grandchildren, Abigail, Mitchell, Mackenzie, Brooke and Colton, and a sister, Joan Ogan of Wabash, IN. Connie was preceded in death by her parents Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, IN where the family will receive friends Monday, February 9, 2015, from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm and Tuesday, February 10, 2015, from 9:00 am, until time of service. A life celebration will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Tuesday February 10, 2015 at 11:00 am with Pastor Mark Reshan officiating. Interment will follow at the Pine Lake Cemetery, LaPorte, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
