Cleone Hansen

Cleone L. Hansen Hansen, age 93, of La Porte, IN, died Monday, September 11, 2006, at Fountainview Terrace in La Porte, IN. She was born June 16, 1913, in Green Bay, WI, to George Hansen and Winifred K. Pollard Hansen, who has preceded. Mrs. Hansen has lived in the LaPorte area since 2000, coming from Merrillville, IN. Hansen was employed by U. S. Steel Corp. as a Secretary/Executive, retired in 1975, and was a member of Salem Chapel United Methodist Church. She was also a member of Second Longest Member 75 years of Grace United Methodist Church in Gary, IN., she had been a 20 years Girl Scout Leader. She won their highest award The Thank-You Award. She had taught Sunday School, very active in church life, had been part of the church board, and various groups with the United Methodist Women. Was currently a member of the Salem Chapel United Methodist Church, where she attended the different Women's Circles. Member of Piomicron National Sorority-Cappa Kama Chapter. She was the daughter of the late Surviving is her, One Sister, Mrs. Joyce Harry Hulce of Springville, Utah, One Brother, Mr. Robert Nancy Hansen of La Porte, IN. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., Cremation will take place. There will be no services held, or visitation, Burial of ashes will be at a later date.
