Cleo Jean Oberholtzer May 19, 1945-August 7, 2013 Ms. Cleo Jean Oberholtzer, 68, of Rolling Prairie, Indiana, died Wednesday August 7, 2013 at I U Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana, after a one week illness. She was born May 19, 1945 in La Porte, Indiana, the daughter of Wayne Oberholtzer and Frances (Fara) Oberholtzer. Cleo Jean enjoyed playing cards. She enjoyed playing with her dogs, watching birds, and especially being outside with nature. She is survived by her 2 brothers - Ronald (Bonnie) Oberholtzer of La Porte, IN, Peter (Diane) Oberholtzer of Rolling Prairie, IN; 2 sisters - Mary Wright of Rolling Prairie, IN, Kathleen (Bill) West of Indianapolis, IN; and 16 nieces and nephews. Cleo Jean was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers, Walter Oberholtzer, William Bass. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN where the family will receive friends Monday, August 12, 2013 from 11:30 am, until time of services. A life celebration will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Monday August 12, 2013 at 1:30 pm with Pastor Jo Ellyn Chadwick officiating.
