Christopher Richmond

Mr. Christopher D. Richmond, 45, of La Porte, Indiana, died Wednesday February 24, 2010 in Rolling Prairie, IN. He was born July 22, 1964 in LaPorte, Indiana, the son of James "Arizona" Richmond and Judith Rosentreter Richmond. Christopher worked as a warehouse supervisor for Michigan City Paper Box. Christopher was a NASCAR and Notre Dame football fan; he enjoyed watching the Chicago Bears and enjoyed karaoke. On May 22, 1999, in LaPorte, IN, he married Melissa Lynch Richmond who survives. He is survived by his three daughters Jessica A. Hall of Westville, IN, Courtney A. Lynch of LaPorte, IN, Tiffany L. Lynch of LaPorte, IN; four grandchildren Nathaniel Hall, Nicholas Hall, Haiddyn Lynch, Thomas Kintzele; one sister, Christi Larry Steinbeck of LaPorte, IN; several nieces and nephews. Christopher was preceded in death by his grandparents. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind. where the family will receive friends Monday, March 1, 2010 from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm. Services will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Monday March 1, 2010 at 3:00 PM with Pastor Wayne Rosson, officiating. Cremation will take place.
