Charlotte Williams

Mrs. Charlotte M. Williams, age 85, of 24949 Sandhill Blvd., Punta Gorda, Fla., died 11:03 AM Friday, December 23, 2005, at Charlotte Regional Medical Center in Punta Gorda, Fla. She was born April 18, 1920 in LaPorte, Ind. to the late Charles Scott and the late Florence Kerns Scott. She had lived most of her life in the LaPorte Area. Mrs. Williams was employed by Owner of Ethel's Restaurant now known as B & J's American Cafe from 1978 to 1985. She retired in 1986. She was a member of Rose Rebekah Lodge #408 of LaPorte and she enjoyed working and socializing with people. On November 28, 1942 in LaPorte, Ind. she married Irtell M. Williams who preceded her in death on March 17, 1967. She is survived by her One Son, Mr. Richard I. Kay Williams of Port Charlotte, Fla., and One Sister, Mrs. Martha John Cholewa of LaPorte, Ind. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sisters and one brother. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, December 29, 2005 and 11:00 AM Friday until time of the service. Funeral service will be at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc. at 1:00 PM Friday, December 30, 2005, Rev. Reuben D. Eversman officiating. Interment will be at Pine Lake Cemetery in LaPorte, Ind.
