Charlotte Halter

Charlotte Gracelyn Halter, 5 months old daughter of Samantha Halter, of La Porte, Ind., died Thursday, September 27, 2007, at Riley University Medical Center in Indianapolis, Ind. Charlotte Gracelyn Halter entered this world a little early and due to heart arrhythmias, she spent her time with us at Riley Hospital for Children. Charlie to family and friends was surrounded by love, laughter, and singing. She cuddled with her un-stuffed animals and fell in love with the boy-next-door, Colin. She was stubborn and fought to stay with us. She amazed and astounded the staff at Riley. When Charlie wrapped her fingers around yours, she stole your heart. She was born April 27, 2007 in South Bend, Ind. and is survived by her Mother; Grandparents, Mrs. Sue Talbot Shirley of LaPorte, Ind., Jeff and Sue Halter of Fort Collins, Co.; Great Grand Parents, Mrs. Dorothy Adkins of LaPorte, Ind., Mr. Richard Talbot of LaPorte, Ind.; Aunt, Loralie Akins of LaPorte, Ind.; Uncle, J. J. Halter of Fort Collins, Co.; Great Aunt and Uncle Liz and Bryan Frank of Anderson, Ind.; Great Great Aunt, Karen Hitz of LaPorte, Ind. and a Cousin Lee Akins of LaPorte, Ind. She is preceded in death by her Great Grandfather Mr. Roger Adkins. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00PM Sunday, September 30, 2007. A graveside funeral service will be at Rolling Prairie Cemetery at 1:00 PM Monday, October 1, 2007, Pastor Jim Lyon of Madison Park Church of God, Anderson, Ind. officiating. Interment will be at Rolling Prairie Cemetery in Rolling Prairie, Ind.
