Charles Lee Trottier January 12, 1932-August 6, 2018 Charles Lee Trottier, 86, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away Monday, August 6, 2018 at Memorial Hospital in South Bend, IN. He was born January 12, 1932 in South Bend, Indiana, the son of Donald Roads and Edna (Schroader) Roads. Charles retired from sales after twenty-three years working for JCPenny. He served in the United States Army from 1951-1953. He was a member of Moose Lodge 492 of La Porte. Charles enjoyed fishing and golfing. On May 17, 1958, in La Porte, Indiana, he married Carol (Gault) Trottier who preceded in death November 1, 2011. He is survived by his two daughters, Sheri (Darryl) Zook of San Antonio, TX, Debra Trottier of Houston, TX; son, Doug (Vicki) Trottier of Tampa, FL; four grandsons, Charley Trottier, Jack Trottier, Kyle Zook, Nick Zook; two great-granddaughters, Emma Trottier, Caroline Trottier; Niece, Connie (Steve) Clougher; Nephew, Wayne (Kathleen) Gault. Charles was preceded in death by both his parents and sister Donna Pipes. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, Indiana. The family will receive friends Thursday, August 9, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. A life celebration will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Thursday, August 9, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. Interment will be held at a later date at the Door Village Cemetery, LaPorte, Indiana.
